Reiki and Healing at Kapiti Women’s Centre

Clara is a Reiki Master and healer. She is offering Healing Sessions every Tuesday between 12.30pm and 2.45pm at the Kapiti Women’s Centre. Sessions are an hour long, and cost $10, which Clara kindly donates to KWC. Please contact the centre (902 6222) to make an appointment.

Still time to enrol in courses!

The dates have been changed for two of our courses, so there is still time to enrol!

 

Redefine The U in Mum

Thursdays beginning March 1st, 10am – 12pm.

This 6 week course provides tools and strategies to assist women to redefine who they are as a woman. Designed to assist women to clarify what drives them, and what they want out of life.

 

Setting Up a Satisfying Year

Tuesdays beginning March 13th, 9.30am – 11.30am.

This 4 week course will help you identify your goals for the year, discover the ‘clutter’ that may get in your way, and make a plan to live your dreams for 2012.

Manicures and Foot Massages

Every Thursday, Maryann will be at the Kapiti Women’s Centre to offer manicures and foot massages (the services are offered on alternate Thursdays). Each session lasts about 30 minutes and costs $10. Maryann generously donates half of this to our centre. Please drop by or phone 9026222 to speak to a centre worker and make an appointment.

Courses for Term One 2012

Term One courses  are beginning soon! Phone or drop by the Centre to register your interest. Your place on the course will be confirmed by payment of a $15 fee per course and any equipment fees incurred.  We are unable to give refunds for late cancellations. A low cost creche is available for all daytime courses.

Work is underway!

2012 is off to a fantastic start at the Kapiti Women’s Centre.  After many months of planning and fundraising, work on the new extension is now underway. We are watching with excitement as the new piles are put in place. Come and visit us to check out the action! The front door to the Centre is closed while work is underway. Please follow the signs around to the back entrance.

Aromatic Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the practice of using the natural oils extracted from plants to enhance psychological and physical wellbeing. Promote health and wellbeing to care for yourself and your family using essential oils. Fridays, beginning 17 February from 12:30pm to 2:30pm for 6 sessions. No class on 9 March.

Creative Carving

Carve a beautiful and unique sculpture for your garden or indoor environment using hebel and simple sculpture techniques. Thursday and Friday, 16 and 17 February from 9:15am to 11:45 am for 2 sessions.
